The Brazilian Arapiraca Wrapper leaf is darker in color than the Mata Fina, yet carries a similar thickness. This leaf is grown in the Arapiraca region of Brazil and is a favorite for Maduro / Oscuro wrappers.

Brazilian Arapiraca Wrapper

The Brazilian Arapiraca Wrapper was first introduced at Leaf Only in February of 2017. It is slightly larger than the Mata Fina and carries a darker color. This leaf is reminiscent of its other Brazilian cousins but carries a slightly stronger scent and a deeper brown in the leaf. Although it is grown in the same climate, this leaf, while similar, is still very unique from the other Brazilian tobacco. These leaves arrive tied in hands similar to most wrapper tobaccos.
